Season fast approachig

The season is fast approaching

With under 60 days to go until the new season begins, the super sedans have a big line up in 12-13, where they will be racing at over 15 meets at Speedway City, Murray Bridge, Sunline (Waikerie)  & Renmark.

Some may have left the class for now.  But rumour has it that a possible 5 new drivers are joining our category.  One of those drivers is David 'Snowy'' Hartman.  He was a very strong driver in AMCAs and I am sure he will do very well in our class.  Of course all our drivers from last year will be returning.

The SA state title will be held at Murray Bridge on the 30th March.  Last year the title was won by one of our own SA boys Shane Best.  Previous to that the Last time the title stayed in SA was in 2006 and was won Bill Miller.  Can Shane do it back to back? Or will another SA driver rise to the challenge.  We are sure our friends from interstate will travel over for the title and we will have another great turnout.

Again the NSSS will be returning to our state.  It will start its series at Charlton Raceway, on the 14th Dec.  Once they head our way the will be at Timms Speedway Mildura on the 11th Jan,  Murray Bridge on the 12th Jan and then they are off to Mt Gambier on the 13th. The NSSS has had an overwhelming expression of interest,   with the series regulars there has been up to 8 new expressions from every state in Australia. Is it possible that two of the new expressions of interest are from SA?  The 3 contract drivers from last season finished in the top 10. Dave Gartner - 4th, Shane Best 5th & Bill Miller 8th.

* Please note that tracks & race dates may change without notice.

We wish all drivers the best for the upcoming season.
